WILMINGTON UNIVERSITY 2018 – 2022
Bachelor of Science, Game Design & Development Wilmington Manor, DE
Certificate, 3D Digital Media
GPA 4.00 (Summa Cum Laude)
• College of Technology Academic Award recipient (Class of Spring 2022)
• Epsilon Pi Tau honor society member, Delta Lambda chapter (October 2021 – present)
• Dean’s List recognition, maintained throughout all semesters (2018 – 2022)
AUGMENTED REALITY & BACKEND January 2022 – April 2022
• Created a working alpha of Wilmington University’s upcoming crime scene investigation app, integrating Vuforia augmented reality (AR) with C#, JSON, and PHP/MySQLi
• Harnessed PHP/MySQLi to send and retrieve JSON data, so that AR objects instantiated by one user can be loaded from the database into another user’s gaming experience
• Implemented C# alongside PHP/MySQLi to capture a screenshot of the AR scene, convert the screenshot to bytes of binary data, and send the bytes to a file location where they can be accessed by another user
• Spearheaded the creation of UI/UX for the app, iterating from a Figma design to a Unity wireframe
GAME ENGINE CREATION January 2022 – April 2022
• Engineered the “DiaShade Engine,” a Unity-based framework for creating dialog-driven games, complete with multiple narrative pathways, levels, and score
• Incorporated the Levenshtein algorithm, C# Regex, and XML to read the player’s text input and intelligently select a response on the backend
I have always enjoyed visual storytelling and cerebral puzzles. Now, I would like to combine those two passions in order to help innovators (companies and individuals alike) communicate visually through animation, computer games, and interactive media.
I am passionate about C#, PHP/mySQLi, and augmented reality (AR), either with standalone proprietary frameworks like Vuforia and Unity ARFoundation, or with web-based libraries like MindAR.JS and AFrame.io.
From an artistic perspective, I am experienced in using Autodesk Maya, Mudbox, and Substance Painter to create compelling 3D characters.
On the side, I love puppetry, sudoku, books galore, and Hallowe'en. (Yes, I insist upon using the original spelling.)
Plus, I am crazy about making up characters! I live and breathe characters!
• Prototyped player health, ammo, and weapons UI system for QuadraTron’s Strange Stars
• Prototyped the start, main menu, and level selection scenes’ functionality for Strange Stars
• Participated in code versioning via Git BASH and BitBucket
